Next, you need to sign up for a Crafty Clicks account.

When you sign up, you will receive an access token by email. There is no obligation to buy anything and you automatically get 30 trial credits. If you need more credits to test the integration, please get in touch (support@craftyclicks.co.uk) and we will try to accommodate you.

Installation

Select the plugin you would like to install.

Install Address Auto-Complete

Step 1

Unpack the zip file and copy the clicktoaddress-auto-complete folder to your WordPress installation’s wp-content/plugins folder.

Step 2

On the admin panel, go to Plugins / Installed Plugins, and activate the ClickToAddress Auto-Complete Integration.

Step 3

From the admin panel, go to WooCommerce / Settings / Integration and click on the ClickToAddress Auto-Complete tab. Here you can insert your access token, which is needed to use this plugin on a live site. To get an access token, you will need to sign up for an account with us, and we will email you an access token. On this page you will also find configuration options, which are explained below in the Configuration section. When you have finished, click ‘Save changes’.

Configuration

  • Search Layout: You can change whether the search interface is displayed below the search field or surrounds the search field.
  • Hide Address Fields: There is an option to hide address fields until a search result is selected. This means that a customer has to use the address search box to enter an address and the accuracy of addresses that are captured is improved.

Install Postcode Lookup

Step 1

Unpack the zip file and copy the clicktoaddress_postcode_lookup folder to your WordPress installation’s wp-content/plugins folder.

Step 2

On the admin panel, go to Plugins / Installed Plugins, and activate the ClickToAddress Postcode Lookup Integration.

Step 3

From the admin panel, go to WooCommerce / Settings / Integration and click on the ClickToAddress Postcode Lookup tab. Here you can insert your access token, which is needed to use this plugin on a live site. To get an access token, you will need to sign up for an account with us, and we will email you an access token. On this page you will also find configuration options, which are explained below in the Configuration section. When you have finished, click ‘Save changes’.

Configuration

  • Button Text: You can change the text displayed on the search button.
  • Counties: There are options for filling the county field.
  • Hide Address Fields: The address fields can be hidden, meaning the customer has to use the postcode search. This improves the accuracy of addresses captured.
  • Hide Results: You can choose to hide the search results dropdown once the customer has selected a search result.
  • Auto-select Result: The first result can be automatically selected.
  • Finally, you can change some of the messages which are displayed.
